The book Sail by James Patterson is about a woman named Katherine Dunne. She lost her husband in a scuba diving incident off their boat called The Family Dunne. Ever since Katherine's husband died her family hasn't been the same. Her three kids Carrie, Mark, and Ernie have been miserable ever since their father died, and they became even more miserable when their mother decided to remarry. The new man that Katherine decided to marry was a lawyer named Peter Carlyle. Katherine decided that she wanted to do something fun with her family this summer to lighten up their moods. So she decided that they would all take a boating trip together as a family, except that her new husband would not be attending because he claimed that he had to stay home because of his job. When really he claimed he could not go because he was really plotting to kill them. This book is really suspenseful. It has a really interesting plot that makes you want to keep on reading for more.
